Apparently, I’m having one of those days. I managed to do the June Newsletter, but it took almost three hours due to kids who kept interrupting me and my husband who lost something that required me to help him with to find. I give up on tonight. I’ll try to do a post tomorrow. Sorry for the delay.

Family First— then, everything else. Remember when your husband was gone, what you would’ve given to have him home!
True. My husband took the kids up to Minnesota this weekend so I wouldn’t have to deal with the kids after being at the book signing, which is realy sweet of him. I think it’ll also be good for the kids to spend time with him, but it’ll be nice to have him and the kids back when the weekend is over. I tend to be more of an introvert, so this weekend is going to drain me out. So in this case, I’m glad to have the house to myself, but I will add it’s only nice because I know they’re all coming back.

It’s aggravating. I have so much I want to do and real life is pulling me away. When my husband can’t find something, it’s like the world is coming to an end or something.
Hey, someone told me a quick way to do indents. In Word, you delete all your tabs but going to “find and replace” and putting ^t in the “find” spot and leaving the replace spot empty. After you removed all your tabs, you go to View on the toolbar and check “show ruler”. Once the ruler appears at the top of the document, select the whole document (in the edit option on the toolbar) and move the top part of the hourglass icon on the left side of the ruler over .25 places to the right. That tells Word to indent the beginning of each paragraph. Then you go back to the title page and chapter headings and highlight on those so you can move that top part of the hourglass back to 0 where it was before, so then your title and chapter headings are not indented. So many people have tried to explain this, but that is the method that has “stuck” with me. I plan to do a post on Self-Published Author’s Lounge where I give pictures of how to do this stuff. I work on it a little at a time because there’s so many steps. Even if they’re easy, I want to be sure I get everything and make it understandable because I struggle with formatting more than the average person does.
